Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality (VR) is an interactive, 3-dimensional experience that immerses you into a range of different scenarios with realistic visuals and sounds. VR is a hands-on way to learn about and explore new places and experience new environments.

Experience kayaking with penguins in Antarctica, visit the International Space Station and experience zero-gravity, complete a Beat-Saber challenge, tour Anne Franks house, swim with manatees, create a piece of 3-dimensional art, and much more!

Virtual Reality

We have a variety of experiences with different intensity levels; some being seated and some being standing.

Drop-in sessions are suitable for those completely new to VR and who want to learn about what it entails, and for experts! During periods of high demand, time limits may be applied by staff for fair access. All sessions are supervised, with someone on hand to set you up and get you started.

Come and try it out at our drop in sessions (school term time):

Lincoln Library - Thursdays, 3.30-5.30pm

Rolleston Library - Mondays 3.30-5.30pm

Leeston Library - Wednesdays 2-4pm

Darfield Library - Thursdays 3.30-5.30pm
