Click and Collect
The Click and Collect service enables library members to request quality items chosen by the Selwyn Libraries team.
To arrange contactless collection of items on hold, please get in touch with us.
If you are not already a library member, you can join the library online.
How does it work?
To request your selection, complete the online form.
Our team will choose a pack of items from the stock available at the pick-up library of your choice.
If you don’t have an email address and would like to request items, please call us to speak to a member of the libraries team.
Current options:
- Fiction
- Non-fiction – such as cooking books, biographies, history
- Graphic novels
- Picture books
- Jigsaw puzzles
- Emergent readers
Please note: Specific titles can't be requested due to availability of stock at our libraries.
Collecting your items
Once our team have selected your items they will be issued to your library card.
When your items are ready to collect, a team member will contact you by phone or email to arrange a suitable collection time.
Our team will give you instructions for coming to collect your items. Collect is contactless and in accordance with social distancing requirements.
Returning your items
Your items will be issued for four weeks with the option to renew for a further issue period provided no one else has placed a hold on the item.
Please return your books to your chosen library as normal via the returns slot.
You can use the Selwyn Libraries App to easily place holds, renew items and manage your account.
