New Zealand General Election 2020

As a result of COVID-19 the 2020 General Elections have been delayed and will now be held from 3 October until Election Day on 17 October. The official elections website is the Electoral Commissions New Zealand ( ) with information available in multiple languages.

If you would like some help enrolling, pop into your local library with your Driver License or Passport and our friendly staff will give you a hand!

This year there are also two referendums you can vote on, the End of Life Choice Referendum and the Cannabis Legalisation and Control Referendum.
