Skinny Jump – helping you to get online at home

Skinny Jump logo

Selwyn Libraries has teamed up with Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa to offer Skinny Jump.

Skinny Jump offers simple, no-hassle prepaid broadband.

It costs $5 each month for 30 gigabytes of data, with the first month included free.

There are no contracts or credit checks and the modem is supplied free.

You just need to top up each month as you go.

Skinny Jump is for those who don't have a broadband connection at home because cost is a barrier. If one or more of the following sounds like you, you should be eligible:

  • Families with children
  • Job seekers
  • Seniors
  • People with disabilities
  • Refugees and migrant communities
  • Those in social housing

Where can you get Skinny Jump?

For the internet to work, your address needs to be covered by the Skinny Jump network.

Most Selwyn addresses are eligible, with the exception of some rural areas.

The address check map will tell you if the internet will work at your home.

Note: Libraries are currently closed under Alert Level 3, but give us a call or get in touch online and we can help.

You can come and visit us at Leeston Library and Service Centre (no appointment needed).

Leeston Library and Service Centre is currently the only library offering a drop in collection service for Skinny Jump.

Skinny Jump is available from other Selwyn Libraries by appointment.

You can fill out an online contact form, or phone (03) 347 2871 and we’ll be in touch.
